ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Root canal treatments (endodontic treatments) are an alternative treatment for damaged teeth where the pulp tissue has been infected or has died, so that the teeth are not removed and may continue to function in the mouth so that the damaged teeth can be cleaned and do not need to be removed and jaws can be maintained.
We can treat many dental issues without having to perform a root canal. Letting us know how long you have been dealing with this particular dental issue will help us determine what the source of discomfort is and what our treatment plan should be. There are many times where a root canal is not the right treatment option, so we must look at the surrounding circumstances.
DO I NEED A ROOT CANAL?
If you are experiencing pain in your tooth and do not know why then you need to visit our office as soon as possible. If we discover infection, we can still save the tooth by using a root canal procedure to remove the infected portion and relieve the pain.
